This is a fun, breezy book that's an enjoyable read. The format is that the authors pose a question which they then answer. The topics are diverse and range from silly to serious. Questions like "Do other dogs think Poodles are aliens" to "Is cocoa mulch harmful to pets?"
I found it both entertaining and informative though it took me a while to get used to the authors talking about one another and their dogs.

==============
Caroline Coile is a PhD scientist of Animal genetics and behavior, and Margaret Bonham is pet behaviorist and trainer, and together they've put together a humorous little book that talks about the ins and outs of dog behavior. The approach they take is to pose a question, which they then answer. Questions like "Can female dogs cock their legs?"and "Do Dogs have Friends and Enemies", as well as more serious questions like "Can a dog be scent-blind?" and "Is cocoa mulch harmful to pets?"
As I said the book is humorous, but it's a gentle humor not a laugh-out-loud and fall to your knees funny. I found the answers not only interesting but informative. My 11 year old daughter liked it as well.
